Enjoy a spectacular 2 hour walk through the oldest, most historic residential streets in Charleston! If those walls could talk!
Learn about the families who lived in these grand houses from the accounts and recollections of the women who lived it.
Hear about their lives, their contributions, share in some of the historic gossip, and untold stories of the citizens, hundreds of years ago.
The 2 hour tour is $32 per person not including gratuities. All tips are donated to “My Sister’s House”, a local shelter that helps abused women and children.
My goal is to have no more than 10 people on the tour so it’s more personal than the classroom sized groups that you often see.
I will meet you at 83 Broad Street, which is the post office. You can take the free Carta shuttle bus route 211 and you’ll be dropped off at the exact spot.
There are also several parking garages in the area. All parking structures charge the same amount.
The tour will take approximately 2 hours.
I will meet you at the Charleston Post office at the corner of Broad and Meeting street at 9:30. I dress in period outfits, so you’ll be able to find me no problem!
I give the tours rain or shine, hot or cool temperatures. In the case of severe weather, I will either reschedule you to the next available date, or issue a refund.
You can cancel up to 48 hours before the start of your tour.
Unless it is a registered service dog, no. Not everyone loves your dog as much as you do and people are there to enjoy the tour.
